About Izzy

About 20 pounds, now was one of 5 starved dogs found in a police investigation. Only 12 pounds when discovered. Family said they had no money to feed the dogs, but they were in a pen in the cold rain with no shelter. She is about 2.5 years old. Very sad situation. They are all now a great weight, have been vaccinated, spayed and neutered. Izzy is very shy with strangers and will hide. She loves you once she knows you. better for a home with no small children. Very pretty with a sweet expression! Really wants to please, and wants someone t be her very best friend! She will bark at strangers. She is good with cats. She is crate trained, unsure if she is housebroken. She will resource guard with other dogs, cant blame her as only a small amount of food was given to them, she was one who was more dominant with the dogs she was penned with. She is timid around bigger dogs. She is a happy, wiggly girl and needs a real home who will love her! We require a current, or recent past vet clinic phone number to call for a reference prior to adopting.
