About Betty Davis

Adoption Fee: $100.
Feist / Chihuahua
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

About 18 pounds, now was one of 5 starved dogs found in a police investigation. Only 10 pounds when discovered. Family said they had no money to feed the dogs, but they were in a pen in the cold rain with no shelter. She is about 2 years old. Very sad situation. They are all now a great weight, have been vaccinated, spayed and neutered. Betty Davis is the friendliest of the 3 who still need homes. Very pretty with big brown eyes! She is good with cats and seems to be good with a variety of people, she will hide when scared, but quickly comes up to you when you talk sweet to her. She is crate trained, unsure if she is housebroken. She will resource guard with other dogs, cant blame her as the other more dominant dogs took the food and she was weak with starvation. She is a happy wiggly girl and needs a real home who will love her! We require a current, or recent past vet clinic phone number to call for a reference prior to adopting.
