About Godiva

MEET GODIVA! She's a 3-year old, 60-lb spayed female in need of adoption! She is house-trained, crate-trained, dog-friendly, and super smart! Hi! My name is Godiva! I'm 3-years old, spayed, and weigh 60 pounds. I'm very healthy and fit, not to mention adorbz. I'm a perfect mix of Labrador and German Shorthaired Pointer, with a bit of this n' that thrown in for good measure. I'm as sweet as my namesake and will give you my princess paw whenever I'm given something yummy! I'm really good at walking, running, playing, and doing puzzle games. I like mental and physical exercises to keep my mind and body sharp, but my favorite thing is being cozy on my bed or cuddled up to the four-legged variety. My foster parents say I am like a cat because I like to curl up in a ball and be comfy and snuggly! I get along great with other dogs, especially my foster brother. I don't live with children but have been a good girl when they are around. Would you believe I know enough commands to be a drill sergeant? I've been taught so many things to be the best I can be. I know sit, stay, sit stay, down stay, come, heel, up, down, OK say 'hi' when meeting someone new, and 'Uh AH!' if I need to be corrected. I'm house- and crate-trained, too! So I need to be honest about some things��%BD'��%BD|.I had knee surgery last summer because some bad people weren't nice to me when I was a pup. I'm perfectly healed now and always ready for a game of fetch or jog around the block. I also need to live a structured life, keep up with my commands, and have a leader to guide me. I hope you can love me enough to do that for me. In return, I'll show you why taking a chance on a rescue like me was the best decision you ever made. My heart will be all yours, and I'll do everything to make sure you always feel special. I'll do everything you ask, and will listen when you don't want me to do something.
