Meet sweet Lola! She is a pretty little 10 year old, 8.6 pound Chihuahua who was surrendered to us by her owner. Lola never meets a stranger and welcomes everyone! She loves to be in your lap and to cuddle and especially enjoys belly rubs. At night she would prefer to sleep with you in the big bed but she will also sleep in a bed or on a blanket by herself in the bedroom as long as she can see you, or she will sleep with the other dogs in the house if they sleep together in their own space. She is pretty flexible on sleeping arrangements as long as she has company! She prefers to potty outside and, as a senior lady, needs to be taken out on a regular basis. She will also come and stare at you to let you know when she needs to go outside! Once out there, she loves to explore the yard. As is common in older, small breed dogs, Lola does have congestive heart failure (CHF) but does not currently need any medication for her condition and shows no signs of slowing down in any significant way. Her tail wags constantly when she is playing and she gets along well with other dogs. Lola loves her toys and likes to show off how well she plays with them! She has not been cat or kid tested. Based on her age and size a home with small children is not recommended. She is up to date on shots, heartworm negative, spayed, and microchipped with a lifetime registration.
