About Lola

Little Lola is still waiting to find her furever family or friend. Lola is about 10 1/2 years young. She has been with her foster parents for a month and has made some amazing progress. When she came to us she was having a little potty issue but after about a couple of weeks she is now completely potty trained. Lola weighs about 9 pounds and has learned to walk with a harness and leash. She would be a great partner to take a walk with. She has a favorite toy that she loves to play with so even if you don't have time to play with her, she has fun all by herself! We watch her throw it out of her bed and run for it and she loves to make it squeak. When Lola came to her foster family's house she wanted to be the alpha dog. Well that worked out okay because her foster family has 2 other alpha dogs so they all handled it in a positive way and figured out how to work together. Lola isn't aggressive, she just wants to have equal attention. She has been seen playing with the smallest dog of the house and they are pretty funny together. We feed her away from the other dogs when it is meal time so they don't fuss at each other. Lola loves to lay in your lap and will sleep with you if you prefer. If not, she is content to be in her own bed at night. She loves to have baths every week and this helps her skin stay moist and her fur to feel silky smooth.
