About Blue

I will take an adoption fee but I have supplies for a small charge; 6 weeks of food, leashes, crate, treats, toys, food bowls and water, meds that I just bought, wet food as well. I do not want to keep any of these things once he is re-homed. I can provide info on what he likes. He has no health issues, regular health checks and vet visits. He is a very healthy dog. I took him to day care 2-3x a week, 2 walks a day, had a back yard. He loves to play but can be toy possessive. When out back if you say, 'where is the squirrel??' He will go chase squirrels, and possibly even invisible ones. He needs a dominant owner, someone who can teach him who is in charge, and handle his behavior well. He can be an amazing cuddler, will sleep next to you, lay on you. I often held his paw while we slept. He is very owner protective. He does well with other dogs socially when I am not around, he does well with adult men (more so than women, but women are certainly totally fine. He just needs consistency. I am a woman that did well with him but I should have done more training from the beginning to learn how to communicate better with him). I do not, at all, want to re home him. He was VERY loved. But, I think he needs to start over and he is young enough to get that kind of attention and re-training. He has head butt some of my friends, but has not bitten them by any means. He needs to be taught not to jump. His name is Blue, often referred to as Blueberry (or when feeling silly, bluescadoo). Please consider providing him a quality home.
