Herman is a shy, sweet and glossy, three-year-old, 48-pound, male, brindle Terrier/Labrador-mix with a half-cropped tail looking for a loving guardian. Rescued from a pound in Franklin County, he already knows the commands sit and shake. It takes him a little bit to warm up, but he will give gentle kisses to those who show him kindness and give him treats. Homer appears okay with other dogs, and because he's a bit timid, he'll will jump at noises, so he will be best with teens and adults. He appears to be housebroken and crate-trained, healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, de-wormed, heartworm treated and on monthly preventative. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Herman, please contact [email protected] or 708-224-1900 for an adoption application. His adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Lucky Dog Rescue. He is being fostered in Chicago.
