About Charlie

Charlie is a bashful 4 month old Shepherd mix looking for his forever home. He currently weighs 16 pounds and still has a bit of growing to do! Charlie was one of 44 dogs that came to us from the Palm Valley Animal Center located in Texas. He was found there as a stray at only 2 months old. Charlie is a very shy pup that will take some time to warm up to new people and a new environment. He absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home where he had a playful companion to help show him the ropes around the home. Charlie will need a patient and loving family that will help him work on his socialization, he does best when people get onto his level. His foster has learned that he feels most comfortable on the bed, so if you would like a snuggle buddy at night, Charlie might be the one for your family. Charlie is a quick learner and has done very well with potty training so far. He also rides well in the car but will need more training as he continues to grow! No apartments or rentals with breed or weight restrictions. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked.
