Watson Shepherd Mix Male 5 years old 58 lbs. Well hello there, my name is Watson; pleased to make your acquaintance. I'm a gentle, sweet guy who's just looking for a spot to call my own after a bit of a rough start to life. I'm so happy at PawsCo being snuggled and doted on and now I'm just looking for that special someone to call my own. I absolutely love being around my person. When someone starts to pet me I just kind of lean into them to make sure they get the best spots and sometimes I get so comfy I'll fall asleep; I'm pretty easy to please! I love people and would be a wonderful addition to an easy going home! I do really well with other dog friends and cat friends too! I may spend most of my time lounging around but I don't mind some puppy playtime once I get to know the other dogs. At the end of the day I'm all about being loved! However, due to some resource guarding issues I've shown in my foster home, I'd do best in a home without little humans. In addition to being an all around mellow fellow, I am also crate trained, walk well on my leash, and enjoy going for a few short walks a day. I'm not as young as I used to be so I don't need hours of activity but I sure don't like to be left behind if the other pups are getting to go somewhere fun! I do have some health issues and I'm looking for a family who is comfortable with my medical needs. I have some allergy issues, arthritis in my elbow, and Atypical Cushings (which is a adrenal gland condition.) I'm on medication for all the above and I am already feeling so much better! As long as I continue my medications, I will have a long and wonderful quality of life but it is something I will need medication for long-term. I also have a mild heart condition that can be managed with medication as well. The total cost of my medication is about $150/month. My health is still a work in progress but the kind folks at PawsCo have invested so much love and care in making sure I'm as healthy as can be!
