This beautiful girl is Luna and she has a pretty remarkable story!Luna found herself dumped at a high kill shelter in North Carolina after someone took her and her babies off the street, but opted to keep only the babies. This was during Hurricane Florence and she was sure to be put down to make room for all the dogs being brought in from the flood waters. Lucky for Luna, Frank's Way Foundation was in town assisting with hurricane relief and saved her! Luna is presently being fostered in Georgia, and she desperately wants a family to call her own. Luna is heartworm positive but is undergoing treatment now and pretty soon she'll be a healthy heartworm negative girl! Luna is very finicky about other dogs so she will do best as an only pet. Luna absolutely LOVES people. She is an extremely affectionate girl who loves nothing more than to be near her human. Luna is about two years old, and weighs about 70 pounds.
