Hennessy is believed to be 15 years old. She is mellow and laid back. She is crate trained and house trained (although she does drink a lot of water so may need to go out more than the average dog). She is quiet in the house too. Hennessy enjoys spending most of her time resting but she does love to play with her ball too! There are so many great things to say about this girl! Given that she is older, her body is sensitive. Because of this, she may do best in a pet free home and with older children. She is currently living with an eight year old boy without any issues but he is very respectful of her space and body. Hennessy is safe in a loving foster home but would love a family and home to call her own where she can spend her golden years. She is a sweet girl who just wants to be loved and the center of someone's world. She wasn't well taken care of in her previous home and deserves to experience that in the next chapter of her life. There are so many great things to say about Hennessy! She is crate trained and house trained. She is quiet in the house, too. Hennessy is quite affectionate and loves to give kisses whenever the opportunity arises. She enjoys being close to her person, but is okay being alone too. Even though she is a senior, Hennessy enjoys her daily walks. She walks well on leash and enjoys taking in all the scents around her. Hennessy also loves playing with her toys. She can entertain herself during playtime, but will also entice her human to join in. Given that she is older, her body is sensitive. She may do best in a pet free home and with older children. She is currently living with an 8-year old boy (of the human variety) without any issues, but he is very respectful of her space and body. Hennessy is hard of hearing (and may even be deaf), but this has not seemed to affect her. Actually she sleeps quite soundly as a result. Hennessy was recently seen by the vet who determined that her heart, lungs, and other organs are functioning the way they should be. She has a history of seizures which seem to be brought on by stress and have subsided since adjusting to her foster home. Hennessy is a healthy, active, and lively girl! Her previous owner reported her to be fifteen, however, with her bursts of energy and activity, wonder if she may be a few years younger.
