About Daisy

Foxhound
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

EMERGENCY FOSTER NEEDED. Daisy has been in a shelter for several weeks now and needs a forever home or foster home as she has been through enough the last few months. Daisy, Foxhound, 3 yrs old, 40 lbs. Daisy was found in the country emaciated. The good samaritan that found her would have kept her, but she jumped her 4' fence, they did try her with a 6' fence for short periods of time and she didn't try to jump. They also found her several homes but they weren't the right match so she was returned to them. She is skittish and uneasy as though she is looking for someone. Daisy is affectionate and not high energy. She does not like the sound of gunfire or loud noises and startles easily. Daisy does like to go for rides. She is good with other dogs of all sizes and doesn't seem interest in outdoor cats. After some investigating by the good samaritan, it has been determined that Daisy and her brother were sold to someone in eastern Colorado, but no one knows if she got out or was abandoned without her brother, unfortunately no one has been looking for her. So, it appears that she has never had a caring loving home. She just needs someone that is patient and willing to give her time to bond and feel safe in a forever home. We are looking for a home with a another dog or a home where someone is home most of the time. Call Cindy 970-353-1385
