Tango is a 9-year-old Golden Retriever/Husky mix. He spent his whole life in one family until his mom's death recently. He is calm, loyal and loving, and often 'purrs' when he gets cuddled, kissed or his belly rubbed. He is smart and has learned 'down' and 'sit/wait.' He'd appreciate a walk everyday. Tango seems to have lived a very sheltered life and gets a bit stressed out (barks) on walks when he sees other dogs and people (maybe he's also protective of his foster mom). But he is fine with strangers at the vet and other places. He's well mannered when left alone in the house. Tango weighs 73# and needs to lose another 10# or so. He is pretty healthy for 9 and gets around well with arthritis meds. He loves being in the back yard and watching squirrels and birds. Tango is a sweet, loyal dog. And what a handsome face! Doesn't he look like a Golden Lassie? For more information and an application form, check out goldenbondrescue.com. He is currently being fostered in the Portland area.
