FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID Age: 1 1/2 Breed: Polydactyl Domestic Short Hair Adoption fee: $25 Crockpot had a rough start to her life as the product of a hoarding/breeding situation. She is a beautiful polydactyl black cat with an outgoing and charming personality who is ready to shine in a home of her very own. Crockpot is the mom of three beautiful black kittens (Soup, Chili and Chowder) and did an amazing job raising them. They are all happy and healthy and also looking for their forever home. Crockpot is goofy and affectionate. She loves to play with all forms of toys and is incredibly affectionate. She has a very loud purr and lets you know how happy she is to see you and get love from you. Crockpot is completely litter box trained and likes to spend her days snoozing in sunbeams or hanging out with other cats. She gets along well with other cats and would love to have a cat friend to spend time with. She seems to do well with larger sized dogs but can get bossy with smaller dogs. As a product of a hoarding situation she does have a few weird quirks, she tends to be on the louder side when she wants something (food) and we believe that food was in shortage previously in her life. If there is an unopened bag of food (cat or human) she will find ways to get into it and will eat through plastic to get at food. She specifically likes bread products and they need to be tucked away in cabinets for Crockpot's safety. Her one other quirk is that she tends to escalate quickly (likely as a result of living with so many other cats). If other cats squabble or 'play fight' she can get pretty upset and will sometimes lash out (she mostly chases and makes noise), but she does enjoy when she is the one engaged in play. She is incredibly sweet and ready to purr her way into her forever home.
