About Lokey

Lokey is a 65 lb 2 year old husky/shepherd mix. He has a gorgeous black and brown coat with incredible markings. He gets along great with other dogs of the same size, unsure on little dogs. He is not good with cats. He is great with children and loves being around people. Lokey is crate trained and walks on a leash but is strong and likes to pull so he needs someone willing to work with him. He is an escape artist and needs a very secure home. Lokey is currently heartworm positive and being treated, so he needs limited activity until treatment is over and he's clear. Lokey is looking forward to finding his perfect family. Once we receive it, we will start processing it. Please understand we are a volunteer based organization so we can't set a timeline, however, we work hard to process it as fast as we can. We DO NOT have any additional photos other than the ones posted on our website and we try to be as honest as we can in each pets bio. Please read each bio carefully, all the information that we know is in there. If it's not there we do not know. Additionally, all of our dogs are in foster homes. We DO NOT have a shelter or location. They are in private homes with families. Therefore, you must have an approved application prior to setting up a meet and greet. Finally, thank you for your interest in adoption. Your application is key. Many times, we find you apply for one dog but that one might not be the best fit for your family. We will suggest if another one that is available will be better suited.
