About Steele

Steele is a big handsome lovebug Great Dane/ Mastiff mix. He loves everyone he meets. He loves going out to public places to meet people. Photos don't do him justice. At 2 1/2 yrs old he's still an adolescent so he will require some continued training but he's smart & a pleaser. Like most Danes he has no idea of his size. He enjoys snuggling & laying on top of you. He's still playful but likes to chill on the couch with his family. He's a counter surfer so he will need work on that. He's not great on leash so he will need continued work on that as well. With a little work this guy will be pretty darn close to perfect. HE REQUIRES A GIANT BREED EXPERIENCED HOME. He is good with kids but due to his size & not being aware of it. No kids under 10 unless they've been raised around giant breed dogs. He's good with other dogs. No cats. He is crate trained and housebroken. Steele came to us after his owner moved & abandoned him. Thankfully the owner's ex girlfriend found out & picked him up but she couldn't keep him so she surrendered him to animal control. He was emaciated & had happy tail. Unfortunately we had to dock his tail but he's feeling much better now. He's neutered & UTD on vaccinations & preventatives.
