About Whitney

WHITNEY is a wonderful 3-4 year old Female Black & Tan Coonhound, 55 lbs. This is an amazing girl, energetic, happy, outgoing, friendly, playful, intuitive and intelligent. Whitney loves to run, play with other dogs, cuddle, hug and snuggle in bed (she's very affectionate!). Still fairly young, Whitney wants to be the center of attention; we expect her to outgrow this once she's in a stable home with fewer hounds to compete with. Whitney is housebroken, knows her basic commands (and some other verbal and non-verbal commands) and does fine with cats. She needs a fenced yard, lots of exercise, a play companion and a variety of experiences. An active family would be ideal. Whitney was surrendered by her owner. As an only dog, and alone all day, she wasn't happy. We can assist with transportation to most states outside North and South Carolina.
