About Nyko

Hi there! My name is Nyko! I am a good looking, mischievous, 60 pound mutt who is 2-3 years old. I look most like a chow chow or golden retriever and border collie. I have a fun loving nature and like to stay busy. I had a bad start in life an was adopted and returned several times from a local Shelter. Since I am so cute, everyone wanted to adopt me, but no one wanted to train me. At one home, I was harassed by a teenage boy so I became mouthy and at this point, I will do best in a home with no kids. I originally was adopted into a home with other dogs, but would do best in a home with no other dogs or an easy going dog my size. Now for my good points! I am a very smart dog and am eager to learn. I will excel in training classes. I already know 'sit' and 'down' and will 'wait' before diving into my food bowl. I am good on a leash and need at least one long walk a day. If you like to jog, bike, hike or skateboard, count me in! I am crate trained and would be best crated while you are gone until I get settled into my new routine with you. I enjoy toys and playing ball and sometimes I will even return it to you! And when we are all done with playing, I love to cuddle with you. I am neutered, current on shots and micro chipped.
