About Casper

Casper is an older chihuahua, believed to be about 5-8 years old. He was transferred to us from a sister rescue because they couldn't get him adopted out. He would shake in his kennel, and people would just pass by him. He originally came from a rural shelter with the same result. Hugo, Cindy's husband, adores littles, and so, Casper came to AHS. Fast forward to now, Casper is the sweetest, most gentle, and loving, little dude ever. He is great with cats, dogs of all sizes, children, and adults. He has even visited a nursing home! We at AHS take on dogs with all types of needs; both physical and behavioral. We do our best to accommodate them, and allow them to learn and gain trust so that we can better place them in forever homes. Casper is a very sweet and balanced little guy who just needed a calm, quiet, yet active environment. He needed a little extra attention and security to comfort him and allow him to shine!
