About Petra18

Petra was surrendered by her owner, along with her 3 sisters, to a high kill shelter. She'd lived in a home her entire life (four years) and was devastated to find herself in a loud, scary, unfamiliar place. Purr Partners took pity on her and brought her, and sister, Phaedra, into the foster program. It has been a long road for Petra. At first she was so frightened and depressed that she refused to eat. Imagine how terrified she was. We took her to the vet, several times, to have her heath checked and to try to get her to eat and drink on her own. Finally, one day, Petra started to eat. Since that day she loves her food and can't wait to eat every day. She is friendly and a bit more outgoing than her sister. She is a pretty tabby with a little orange coloring and green eyes. We think she'd be happy to be back in a home where she can remember what it feels like to be loved and secure. She's always lived with other cats and would like a home with, or without, her sister.
