Phaedra was surrendered by her owner, along with her 3 sisters, to a high kill shelter. She'd lived in a home her entire life (four years) and was devastated to find herself in a loud, scary, unfamiliar place. Purr Partners took pity on her and brought her, and her sister, Petra, into the foster program. It has been a long road for Phaedra. At first she was so frightened and depressed that she refused to eat or drink. Imagine how terrified she was. Finally, one day, she decided her foster mom was OK and Phaedra started to eat. Since that day she loves her food and can't wait to eat every day. She is very friendly and a bit more timid than her sister. She is a beautiful girl with striking and unique markings. We think she'd be happy to be back in a home where she can remember what it feels like to be loved and secure. She's always lived with other cats and would like a home with, or without, her sister.
