Beatrice A4181044 My name is BEATRICE. I am a female, brown German Shepherd Dog mix. The shelter staff think I am about 9 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Dec 10, 2018. Poor Beatrice is in pretty poor shape. She is underweight, has bad teeth, and has not had her nails trimmed for a very long time, causing her to walk painfully. Like most dogs her age not in a caring home, she also has osteoarthritis which is quite painful and will most likely be a lifelong condition. She is getting some pain meds right now to at least alleviate her pain. She is scared and very timid, and if not rescued very soon, she will have to be humanely euthanized. She seems OK around other dogs, but without care outside of the shelter, she will probably just go downhill even more. If you could find it in your heart to give this little girl a loving home, she would improve greatly and would reward you with love, loyalty and affection.
