About Lucky Johnson

This is Lucky Johnson. This poor boy was hit by a car then his owner refused to provide the care he would need. He had several lacerations, road rash, internal bleeding and his hind right leg was badly broken but this boy was a fighter and we didn't want to give up on him. He has had surgery on his leg and currently has pins in the leg to allow it to heal properly. He is doing well now but he still has a way to go before he is back to full speed. We beleive he is a 18 month old Shar pei/ Boxer/ possibly Visla mix and weighs about 35lbs. He is very sweet and hasn't had any problems with other dogs or cats and has been good with young kids. Currently he is on crate rest at the rescue while he heals but is good on the leash and is learning manners as well as house breaking. He was heartworm negative on intake, is current on vaccines and has been dewormed. His adoption fee is $200.
