About Cora

Cora is a special needs dog in that she needs a special owner who understands her and can help her to become a less cautious girl around people and other dogs. she came to us from a man who is now in prison and his family would not keep Cora. She is likely a pitt and beagle mix based on her coloring and her size. she was not socialized well as a puppy and she is very wary of humans and of other dogs until they prove that they will not be aggressive towards her. Once she knows you she is all about giving you licks and hugs. So she needs an owner who will gradually help her to get better at meeting new people and pets. she is about 50 pounds and is about 2.5 years and has all of her medical work done now. So she is just awaiting the right person to come and spend some time with her and take her home to a nice life going forward. She deserves a second chance and will soon be a wonderful pet for someone with a big heart! Adoption fee is negotiable to a good person and home.
