About Bonnie

Introducing Bonnie, a 2 year old, 12-14 pound Rat Terrier mix. Bonnie came to us from a hoarding situation. Bonnie is good with other dogs, big and small. She likes to play with them and loves small, stuffed toys, especially squeaky toys! We believe she would be okay either as an only dog or with other dogs. She has not been cat tested. Bonnie has learned a lot since being with our rescue. She is now completely housebroken and knows how to use a dog door. She has learned to walk on leash and regularly goes out with another dog, walking on a separate leash. Bonnie likes to sleep on the pillow near her foster mom but will settle for any spot on the bed. She is very smart and learns new things easily. She allows men to pet her but needs a little longer to get comfortable with them as well as with older children. She is not compatible with younger children due to her size and her energy level. Her experiences in the rescue have increased her confidence and she is ready for a gentle, loving family. She is eager to please others and looking forward to finding her furever home.
