About Rose the sweetheart

Hello there! My name is Rose, and I'm an ultra-sweet, outgoing, happy, and affectionate 'tabico' (tabby calico) DSH gal who was born in November 2017. I'm a beautiful 'tabico' who has gray tabby where most calicoes have black or dilute calicoes have solid gray. I just love humans, especially my foster mom, and I would probably be great with kids. I'm one of the sweetest girls you'll ever meet -- not to mention that I'm friendly, easy-going, contented, and loving. Things have not always been a bowl of cherries in my young life, however, because I had to fend for myself all alone on the cruel city streets for about a year. It was a blessing in November 2018 when a Good Samaritan rescued me from a parking lot before it started getting too cold. The hardscrabble life of dumpster-diving was no life for an amiable little girl like me! Because I had to survive and compete for food and shelter among other 4-legged critters, I'm not a fan of other animals. I suppose, however, if you were patient enough, I could get used to them, but I prefer 2-legged humans. Although I'm quite content here in my foster home, there're two little resident dogs and too many foster cats and kittens for this to be an ideal situation for me. I know that my utopia will be a loving family and a forever home of my own where I'll be cherished for my strong human compatibility. Just think how great it would be to move from lap to lap in my new family as I progress down the sofa! Since I spent a whole year as a stray, I deserve the best from here on out of my nine lives, so I hope there's room in your heart and hearth for me.
