MEET ALASKA! They say huskies have a personality, but just wait till you meet her. This sweet and gentle 4 year old husky loves to give hugs and kisses. Her world recently was turned upside down and she landed here with us at Husky Haven. Because of this she can appear cautious at first but once she gets to know you, you're hers forever. All she will want is to play, play, play, and kiss, kiss, kiss. She tends to be protective over her crate and any of her things in it. She is extremely attentive and pretty awesome on a leash, for a husky. Being a husky, she has an strong prey drive, she has proven amazing at hunting your typical backyard creatures. Once we receive it, we will start processing it. Please understand we are a volunteer based organization so we can't set a timeline, however, we work hard to process it as fast as we can. It's very important that you fill out the application completely. Missing information will delay the process, especially vet phone numbers, references, and info on pets. All the questions regarding the available pets and their personalities can be found at www.huskyhavenfl.org. Many times we get asked for additional photos. We DO NOT have any additional photos other than the ones posted on our website and we try to be as honest as we can in each pets bio. Please read each bio carefully, all the information that we know is in there. If it's not there we do not know. Additionally, all of our dogs are in foster homes. We DO NOT have a shelter or location. They are in private homes with families. Therefore, you must have an approved application prior to setting up a meet and greet. Finally, thank you for your interest in adoption. Your application is key. Many times, we find you apply for one dog but that one might not be the best fit for your family. We will suggest if another one that is available will be better suited.
