About Bear

Bear is a 10 month old 55 pound mystery mutt. His coloring looks like a Swiss Mountain dog. His jaw shape makes us think there is some Staffordshire Terrier in him. The rest of him is much smaller than his blocky head. Everything behind his head kinda looks like a Border Collie. Whatever mix he is must be a great combination because he is a really good pup. He plays well with other dogs his size and does will with the cats in his foster home. They aren't willing to play with him yet. Bear really likes to cuddle with people. He needs a home with a fenced yard so he can run and play safely. Bear is a well-trained pup because he had the advantage of going to the Oakdale Medical and Classification Center to work with the inmates in their dog program. They only use positive reinforcement training and they teach the dogs all the basic commands along with lots of socialization. Bear is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped. He is all ready to find his forever home.
