About Sarah

Have you ever wanted a little cat that you can take for walks on a leash and that will follow you around like a little furry kitty-dog? How about a kitty that likes to have conversations with you and lets you know when it's time to go to bed (so she can snuggle), or for you to sit down...pronto...so she can get into your lap for some much deserved lap time? This little 10 year young lady by the name of Sarah has all the characteristics of a Turkish Van in that she loves to play in water and she will sit by her caretaker's kitchen faucet and makes it very clear to her caretaker that she would like to have that faucet turned on for her...pronto. Sarah belonged to her caretaker's elderly neighbors who abruptly went into assisted living because of dementia two years ago. She and another cat were left behind in the house for several months where a family member left food once or twice a week and the air conditioning in the house was left on for them as it was summer. The other cat was adopted out by family members but Sarah's assertive personality made it a little more difficult to find the perfect home for her right away. Sarah needs to be an only kitty and would very much prefer a quite household where she can have her human(s) to herself. Her caretaker has a male cat who is bullying poor little Sarah and the situation is becoming difficult to manage for this engaging little kitty girl. Sarah just had a vet exam, vaccinations, and dental and is declared a healthy little cat.
