Bandit is a sweet, independent boy looking for a home of his own. He was an unclaimed stray after being struck by a car. He recovered from a bit of road rash and luckily no injuries. It took him some time to trust the volunteers after his scary experience and finding himself in a kennel environment. Once we have gotten to know Bandit, we guess him to be about 3 years old. He weighs about 55 pounds. Bandit quickly got the hang of the routine and has proven to be house trained, kennel trained, and good with most other dogs. He is very quiet and gentle. He prefers to meet new people at his own speed. This means he doesn't want hugs and kissy faces immediately from strangers. Bandit is not a dog that jumps up on strangers and he won't lick you in the face. He's polite and listens well. Bandit would do best in a home with older children and adults who know how to allow him to feel comfortable without pushing him too much. Bandit will be a protective, loyal companion who will be well behaved in home. Bandit is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. If interested in meeting him, please complete an adoption application on our website at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting. His adoption fee is sponsored with an approved adoption.
