About Hank (east)

Rottweiler mix
Age: Senior
Sex: Male

HANK - A4179394 My name is HANK. I am a male, black and tan Rottweiler. The shelter staff think I am about 9 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Nov 30, 2018. Hank is in rather poor condition. He is a really sweet older gentleman who currently has an upper respiratory infection, which is quite common among shelter animals. He has lost 14 lbs since being incarcerated in the shelter. Dogs usually recover really quickly in a home setting. He also has some arthritis, and finds sitting difficult (especially on a concrete floor like in a kennel). He will sit momentarily to get a treat, though. Hank was obviously not treated well during his lifetime, and could use some socialization with both people and other dogs. But you can tell from the video that he is gentle and well-mannered. Unless Hank gets out of the shelter very very soon, he will be put down. We hope some kind soul will save this senior gentleman so he can live out his years in a kind and loving home. Please - would you give him a chance? 'URGENT' If you have no breed restrictions, please call ASAP = 520-800-4633 *NOTE: This dog is located at MCACC East: 2630 W Rio Salado Pkwy, Mesa AZ 85201
