About Dusty

Its unbelievable, but Dusty found himself on the freeway running loose, when he was found and taken in by a good Samaritan. Perhaps because he cannot hear, he was scared and just ran and ran and ran. What's more unbelievable is nobody came forward for him, so he will be finding a new home now. He's a young dog, probably around a year to 18mths, and weighs about 10-15 pounds and is full grown at this point. He is friendly with other dogs, both large and small. He's starting to be crate trained now, and doing well. He adores and loves people, he is super friendly and very loving. He is also walking well on his leash, and would make a great partner for your walks! If you are interested in giving this highway hound a new home, one that he will be kept safe and sound in, let us know! We are a FORCE FREE rescue. The adoption contract you will be signing specifically states that you agree to NEVER use any aversive methods nor tools like a shock, prong or choke collar. Please, consider everything when making a decision to adopt a dog. As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip, and be spayed/neutered. You may need to come back to us to complete shots, spay or neuter, hw test. You will receive 6 mths of HW preventative.You will receive a free bag of premium dog food, as well as a gift card from Choice Pet Market if you live in one of the designated zip codes. Training is MANDATORY and will be scheduled at a later date and place.
