MEET STEWIE! Who is looking for a handsome, smart, playful little man to include in their heart, home and family? Well, we found your perfect match! Stewie is an spunky, happy go lucky, 11 month old Poodle Dachshund with the most soulful eyes! He looks like he's wearing a little Sherpa Coat! A little lamb! Stewie loves to bounce around in the yard with other dogs at his foster home. He likes to romp with the littles and the bigs! Stewie is a playful ball of fun! He warms right up after a few moments to you and loves doing the puppy zoomies! He is equally happy hanging out in a crate, chewing on a bone or laying on the couch binge watching Catastrophe on Prime with this foster. Although we are a large breed dog rescue we couldn't turn away Stewie who's owner loved him but just didn't have the time he knew Stewie deserved. He is also crate trained and as a dog trainer I would suggest to just be consistent with training to go potty outside instead of using pee pads in his new home until he gets acclimated. If you are looking for a small to medium sized bundle of love who is smart, handsome and all kinds of wonderful than look no further! Stewie is your guy! He is a Dachshund Poodle and has a soft caramel colored coat that has adorable big curls like a lamb. He has an outgoing personality once he meets you. Good looks and charm all rolled into one. Extremely in tune with people. He LOVES other dogs and snuggling up. Stewie is up to date on all his vaccinations including rabies, dewormed, neutered, microchipped and crate trained.�%A0 Adoption Fee Applies Poodles, Maltese and Doodle type dogs like this need to be groomed on a regular basis and brushed between groomings to keep them from ever getting matted.�%A0 As we pre-screen via email please tell us a little about your lifestyle, work schedule, how many adults, children or pets are in the household, area you live in, house or apartment etc.�%A0 We will happily place Stewie in a home with other dogs and well mannered dog savvy children. We expect Stewie to be an indoor dog and we would love if you had a playmate or two for him. Doodle type dogs are a lot of work so please make sure you're ready for the responsibility and that everyone in the household is ready and on-board for the long term commitment that training, grooming and exercise a pup like this requires.�%A0 Should things move forward to a meet & greet/home check situation ALL family members, kids and pets currently living at the residence must be present. The meet and greet to not only make sure he gels with you guys and your dog but that everyone in the family is on board and equally as enthusiastic. We do not make exceptions to this rule.
