On a cold, dark evening, P.Bear (Pooh Bear) was rescued begging for food at a gas station north of Gallup, NM. Despite being on the streets for an unknown amount of time, this lovable guy possesses a truly gentle, happy-go-lucky nature (thus the name), and a strong desire to please. Still in some ways very much a pup (but in actual years probably between 1 and 2 years of age) P.Bear has learned to sit for his food, 'load up' in a truck, and go on leashed and unleashed walks over the past week. Recently, he has spent his days in a warm house with two lovable female dogs waiting for his foster mom to return home from work. During this time, P.Bear has shown himself to be house-trained and well-behaved. He's currently underweight at 50lbs but is enjoying working on getting to a much healthier weight. Absolutely loves to run, play, and cuddle! He is being fostered through Blackhat Humane Society.
