About JERRY THE LOVEBUG

Hello everyone, my name is 'JERRY'! When I first arrived at the shelter, I was sad and scared and alone, which quickly endeared me to the shelter staff. For the first time in my life I was treated like a prince, like a very special boy. And you know what? they were spot on!!! I am a one-of-a-kind, extra sweet and adorable pup. I'm a 1 year old, 30lbs and a little bit boxer, a little bit pit and a whole lot of sweetness! I'm fun-loving and playful and looking for a loving forever home with a fur friend, respectful kids (over 10 years old) and a big fenced in yard where we all can romp and play. If you are adventurous and like to jog, hike and take long walks, I can see your future with me in it! I'm a smart pup, eager to please, highly treat motivated and I love learning new things. I am with a fantastic foster family and they are teaching good house manners and I'm doing great. I am 99.9999% housebroken, I'm crate and leash trained and learning the difference between inside play and outside play. I'm cool with the house rules because inside time is a great time to snuggle with my people, play with my toys, and take a nap and rest up for the next great adventure. I'm a people dog and I've got the best foster brother!!! In the evening when he's lying on the couch watching zombie movies, he let's me use him as a pillow... it's sooooo comfy. So there it is...I confess.... I'm a lap dog and if you love me you are welcome to share a chair or couch with me anytime! So what do you think? You, me, together fur-ever?
