About Delilah (west)

American Staffordshire Terrier mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Delilah A3811855 Delilah is a 3 year old Brindle and White American Staffordshire Mix. She has been in and out of the shelter four times since May of 2017. Her first owner had her for a year and said she was escaping all the time and brought her back. The second time, she only lasted a week because the boxer/pitbull already there in the home wanted to be the dominant one, as did Delilah. The third time was for 6 months, and brought back because the owner said that her son said, that her son's friend said Delilah bit him. Unable to get full story on that one. The last time, for a year, the owner said Delilah could not get along with the male dog in the house, although most of the time Delilah was on the road with him (semi-trucker) and did fine traveling. Delilah just loves people, but seems to have trouble getting along with other dogs, and is very energetic. That's probably why she escapes - she's a wanderer and explorer. She has lots of energy, and just needs a lot of stimulation. It would be a shame for such a gorgeous and adventerous soul to lose her life just because she has such a zest for it. She just needs a strong hand and loving interest to help her learn better manners. She would make a wonderful walking or hiking buddy. Please - would someone step up and save this sweetheart from being euthanized? 'URGENT' If you have no breed restrictions, please call ASAP = 520-800-4633
