*** FANTASTIC FAMILY DOG !! *** 'DEXTER' is a very handsome, 1.5 to 2 yr old, 70 lb, Lab/Weimaraner mix we rescued from a very high kill pound. Dexter is smart, friendly & so eager to please ! He is very sweet and loves to cuddle. Though gentle by nature, he is an athlete, so an athletic owner and a large back yard would be optimal. Dexter is very curious with a huge heart, and loves to give hugs & kisses. He is obedient and knows 'sit' and 'down'. He loves his toys; hard bones, tennis balls and 'Kong' toys. Dexter looks lovingly into your eyes and wants nothing more but to please who ever he is around. Dexter needs to be in a forever home with another gentle, kind dog; either male or female, preferably of equal or greater size, to be his playmate but also help him build his confidence. Dexter is neutered, has been de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, micro-chipped, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not administer it's own vaccination shots. All of our rescued dogs' medical care has been administered by a licensed Veterinarian. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
