I'm a little guy with a big name, Rocko!! I am a Basset mix about 2 years old. My brother, Skippy, and I made our way to BROOD after our owner passed away and the family was not able to take care of us. And though we came from the same family, we are fine to go our separate ways and each find a new home to call their own. But if you happen to be interested in a pair of funny little fellows, that would be nice too!!! I learned this house training thing in no time at all. I'm crate trained too. I have a cute little bark that I like to use to tell you how happy and excited I am to see you! I love all the people, dogs and children I meet and am very friendly. I'm very active and love to play with my toys, people or other dogs. A home with a fence would be the best so I have a yard to explore and run to my hearts content. I am a wiggly petite guy and will quickly cuddle in any available lap for some belly rubs. And since I am on the small side, no lap is too small or off limits for me! The adoption application is on the BROOD website. We require a home visit and a veterinary reference. The age of many BROOD dogs is unknown, as very few come with official records. The estimate on the dog's age is usually the initial estimate given by the receiving shelter, which may be different from that given at the time of the initial checkup. Different veterinarians may also give different ages, and those different opinions are sometimes reflected on the record. ***BROOD's adoption fees are determined based on age of the dog 12/12/2018
