About Skippy

Skippy is the name and being a puppy is my game!! I am a Basset mix about 2 years old. My brother, Rocko, and I made our way to BROOD after our owner passed away and the family was not able to take care of us. And though we came from the same family, we are fine to go our separate ways and each find a new home to call their own. But if you happen to be interested in a pair of funny little fellows, that would be nice too!!! I am crate trained and working on the house training thing. I can be a little shy when first meeting people but an everyone's friend once I feel comfortable. I am a quiet guy and typically don't have much to say. I've got a lot of youthful energy and love to play with toys, people, children or other dogs. An ideal home would have a fenced yard for me to run and stretch my little legs. I am great at sharing, unless it's food. Then I like to have a little space to myself to enjoy my meal. My foster mom said I am really smart and learn pretty quickly. I am always happy and love to snuggle with my people for a little extra loving. I'm very athletic and would love to show off my mad skills. So please contact BROOD today! We require a home visit and a veterinary reference. The age of many BROOD dogs is unknown, as very few come with official records. The estimate on the dog's age is usually the initial estimate given by the receiving shelter, which may be different from that given at the time of the initial checkup.
