About Syd

Syd is three years old and is a super-sweet and loveable lady but has people food aggression and I haven't been able to help her get over it. She did bite my hand a couple weeks ago (broke skin but no stitches). I do have kiddos in the house and just can't chance that she would bite them. We have a 9 year old male lab (neutered) and a 1 year old male Chihuahua (intact). She gets along very well and plays with both of them. My kids use her for a pillow, play vet etc and she is great with them. When we go for walks I do use a leash that has a little strap that goes just over her the bridge of her nose and she does awesome with that (otherwise she tends to pull). The only other issue we have is that she does counter surf which we have tried to fix but overall have simply gone to just making sure that we keep the kitchen cleaned up. I truly feel that the right person that has a dominating personality would be the perfect fit for her. I'm too much of a softy I'd be happy to answer any questions about her. This has been a very difficult decision for our family and I can't express enough how wonderful she is other than the food aggression.
