LACEY IS DIABETIC. Diabetic dogs require shots twice a day, 12 hours apart. Sweet little Lacey came to us from the county shelter. She is as sweet as can be, loves kids, women--and warms up to men over time. She is very submissive, and afraid of some dogs--although she REALLY does want to play with them! An easy going, non dominant, playful pup would be ideal for her. She is housetrained but because she is diabetic does need to be taken out often. She walks great on a leash, loves toys, sleeping on the sofa or in bed with you--she is just a delight. She barks when nervous, so a home with not a lot of adult activity would probably be best. Lacey is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, had a full blood panel and a dental cleaning. She will go to her new home with a brand new bottle of insulin and enough syringes for a year. (the insulin is $25 and lasts about 3 months)
