About Irwin

Irwin is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families. Irwin is fostered in Anniston, AL and transport is available to West Central Florida. Irwin is an Aussie of just about a year and is on the timid side. He will need a home that can accommodate a big boy, as he is already over 60 lbs. Irwin is a double merle but shows no signs of sight or hearing impairment. He is showing interest in toys and playing as he settles into home life. He has made best friends with his foster family's two young female dogs and loves to run around outside with them. He will play with his foster mom happily. Irwin takes a little time to warm up, moreso with men. We think he would do best in a home without young kids. Irwin is mostly housebroken and has never had an accident in his crate, which he is trained with. Prior to adoption or moving to a new foster he will be up-to-date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped.
