Taro and Mochi are a pair of beautiful, talkative and sweet young female guinea pigs looking for a loving guardian together. Taro is a brown Abyssinian with funny little swirls and cowlicks in her fur, and Mochi is white smooth coat with grey ticking. They make adorable squeals, chirps, squeaks and purring noises. They are looking for a caring guinea pig-lover who will hold them, adore them and socialize them daily. This pair was purchased as babies at a pet store, but their young guardian quickly tired of his charges and gave them to his parents who loved them but were allergic. Guinea pigs eat a diet of unlimited Timothy hay, limited pellets, and fresh vegetables including romaine, red leaf and green leaf lettuces, cilantro, etc. Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent web site http://www.guinealynx.info/ They'd love a home with adults and perhaps gentle children who will handle them daily, keep them well fed, and keep their habitat nice and clean. If you're interested in meeting and possibly adopting this wonderful pair, please contact [email protected] They are being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood. Their adoption fee of $60 benefits rescue. For an additional $40, we'll include everything you need to care for them including food and litter, cage, hidey beds and water bottle.
