The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less than ideal conditions so will need to be house and leash trained. Most have never lived in house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion Hi! My name is Gizmo and I am beautiful Shih Tzu puppy who was born 8/9/18 and I weigh 7 pounds. I was sold at a dog auction and was facing living my life in a cage and being used for breeding. (Not so bad if I didn't know any better) But now I know life can be so much better. A nice lady got me right out of there and now I am ready for the rest of my life. I love to be petted and loved and will be a cuddle bug very quickly. No children under 10 years old please.
