About Wells

We have had Wells since he was 12 weeks old and it breaks our hearts to have to give him away. Wells is an 8 year old purebred Softcoated Wheaten Terrier that is microchiped and fully up to date on all shots. He is a sweet boy but has anxiety issues that cause him to become unpredictable at times. His anxiety can be triggered by a few things but is most noticeable during thunderstorms or fireworks. This hasn't been an issue for us until recently when we had our first child and are concerned that Wells has the potential to act adversely toward the child once he is old enough to start walking and bug Wells. Wells is almost always good with other dogs (and in fact loves them) but has gotten in a couple skirmishes with our other dog (usually territorial, over a toy/treat/food). He is otherwise in good health, loves walks, and has a distinct howl as a way of talking to you. He used to be very active but has slowed down in his middle years and now sleeps most of the day but can rev it up to play when needed! Wells has been on many great adventures with me and my family and we are really hoping to find a great place for him to call home. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
