Roxanne is a petite, 6 year old Doberman, weighing in at 55 lbs. She will be 7 in February, but acts like she's 2 or 3. She has high energy, so a fenced backyard is a must. She does not like cats or small animals. Roxanne has always taken time to adjust to new dogs; over the last year or so, she's become increasingly aggressive with the other dogs already in the home. While she has not hurt anyone yet, I believe she will be happier as an only dog. Rox is spayed and up to date on shots. She knows sit, down, stay, kiss, and shake (both paws). She walks nicely on a leash, but does not do well off leash. She would love to be a running or hiking partner. She is fully housebroken and crate trained, although she does not need to be crated when left alone. Roxanne is sweet and affectionate with all people; she was even a therapy dog at one point, visiting residents of senior living facilities. She has not had much exposure to young kids, so a home with children aged 10 or older would be best. Adoption fee is negotiable for the right home. Home visit will be required.
