About Chaka

Chaka is a german shepard husky mix and she is pictured on the right. She is 8 years old and has been a part of our family since she was 6 months old. She was previously abused but has for the most part recovered. She is occasionally weary of people. We are heartbroken to have to rehome her but she occasionally picks fights with our other dog and we have a 1 year old, so we do not want to take the chance of her attacking our baby. Chaka is very mellow but loves to go for walks and likes to be pet and loved on by humans. If you have small children I would not recommend. She has NEVER been aggressive towards people. That being said, she is wonderful with people, listens well, knows commands such as sit, lay down, bang bang (rolls over), ninja crawl, stay, and come. In her old age she likes to wonder, which I think is due to her husky mix. If you think you would like to meet her, please give me a call.
