About Ryder

Ryder With Gabi Meet Ryder. This handsome guy is a 7.5 year old Lab/Pointer mix who weighs about 58 pounds. Ryder is a fun, active dog who will make an active person a wonderful adventure companion. Don't let his age fool you. He loves to play frisbee! He also loves walks and runs. He is good on the leash with a prong collar to help him not pull. He is great in the car. He has even taken a cross country road trip before! Ryder is a good boy in the house. He is house and crate trained. He knows his basic commands: sit, stay, and down. Ryder is good with men and women. He didn't grow up with kids, so we don't know what he thinks of little kids. Teenagers should be fine. Ryder does like to be the only dog, though he may be okay sharing a house with a submissive female dog. He also isn't a fan of cats and livestock. He doesn't want to share the attention he gets from people! Ryder is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is available for adoption in SoCal. We don't ship our dogs, so adopters need to be able to meet and adopt in SoCal.
