About Katie

Katie is a big ball of fun! This playful girl was rescued literally minutes from being euthanized at a local shelter during a distemper crisis. Unfortunately Katie tested positive. Luckily she had not been there long and the distemper never got a chance to get bad in her system. She immediately started treatment before ever even showing signs. She has completed treatment and since tested negative! She is happy, healthy and ready to find her forever family. Because of Katie's high energy and playfulness, she needs to go in a home with children over the age of 8 & equally playful dogs. Her high energy may annoy an older less playful dog. She is about 45lbs. Estimated DOB 8/10/17
