About Cruiser

Mr. Cruiser is about 1 to 1 1/2 years old. He was unfortunately a stray running around a City for several months and had to be live trapped to get him off the streets. The groomer came in and clipped him down as he was one solid matted mess. The groomer believes he is a Lhasa Apso/Poodle mix. He is still scared - no aggression. He is doing excellent going outside to go potty. He is eating pretty well but still thinks canned food is better. He needs a quiet home. Little kids not a good idea with how afraid of things he still is. We have seen no aggression but a dog that is afraid will bite if cornered. He will require a minimum of a 4' fenced in area because of his prior history of running for months - if he were to get loose again the odds of being able to catch him would be pretty slim (they get smart once they have been trapped). He won't be ready to go home until the first of the year - we are going to give him time to relax, catch up on sleep, get regular feedings down pat and get all of his vet work completed. His adoption fee, once ready to go, will be $250.00.
