About Sparky

Sparky is a 10lb, 6 year old, terrier mix. Sparky was found running the streets of New Mexico. He was so adorable and friendly we assumed he belonged to someone, yet nobody came forward for him. After a month of trying to find his family it was pretty clear someone had dumped him, leaving him behind. Sparky has now made his way to CO and is ready to find his true forever family. A family who wont ever dump him or leave him behind and will love him unconditionally forever. Sparky is a good boy! He is potty trained and very obedient. He seems to get along with all other dogs and loves to play with other small dogs. Big dogs scare him a little, he just shakes when he encounters a really big dog. He gets along well with people and loves to be loved on. Sparky does get a little protective over really really good treats, so we are requiring he go to a home without kiddos. That being said it has only happened once and we believe it has to do with the lack of food he got when fending for himself on the streets. Poor little man. He is a sassy, happy, loving, goofy dog. He may be 6 years old but he still acts like he is 2 or 3! Sparky is a lower shedding dog but does shed a little, so if someone has allergies he will most likely not be the dog for you, especially since we don't know his breeds.
